Rob comes in to the living room to give the boy plates of pancakes for breakfast.
Milo: “Wooooo! The gods have blessed me with a snack!”
Milo: “Mom! Your batwing shawl can actually make you fly!”
I look at him.
Milo: “It does! I mean, it makes you glide a little bit, at least.”
Me: “I’m not sure I want to know how you know that.”
Milo: “Mom, can I paralyse you? I have to give you three kisses to unparalyse you so…”
Me: “Guess you’d better paralyse me, then.”
Milo: “Mom, do NOT pull this trigger.”
Me: “Oh? Why?”
Milo: “It’s a galaxy blower-upper. It blows up entire galaxies… Oh, why did I make a galaxy blower-upper? Now our entire galaxy is in DANGER!”
Milo: “Mom, if you said you were going to cut your arm off to show how much you loved me, I wouldn’t let you because I wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself.”
Milo: “Squinching Morris is part of my life cycle.”
Milo: “Mom, you’re really advanced technology.”
Me: “Really? How’d you figure?”
Milo: “Because you’re so awesome.”
Milo and Morris are laughing as they wrestle each other on the couch.
Milo: “You’d better not kiss me again!”
Morris: “I’m not. I’m just going to put my lips on your lips.”
